I will be presenting a talk to the Society of Genealogists on Saturday, August 2nd, about how to help family historians write their stories for publication .
The presentation will cover why to write, what to write about, who to write for and how and where to make what you write accessible.
My remarks will be base on my own experience with publishing and editing family history related information, primarily as blog posts and articles for genealogical society journals and commercial magazines.
